Israel’s High Rate of Visa Denial Reflection of Contradictions of Apartheid State
While waiting in my representative’s local office to appeal for the end to the war on immigrants, I found an article in The Congressional Quarterly about Israel’s request for its citizens to enter the United States without visas and stay for up to 90 days.

While this is certainly not a pressing issue, I think Israel’s high rate of denial of visas, primarily due to Israeli citizens’ overstaying visas and working in the United States illegally and flagging non-Jewish Israeli’s as security risks, is another reflection of the contradictions of a state based on religious/ethnic exclusivity.
